The scope of each service depends on the agreed requirements, applicable permissions, operational feasibility and relevant contractual terms.

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, submit fraudulent information or use the website for unlawful or misleading activities.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, service descriptions, operational details, general guidance and other published information may change over time.
Website content is provided for general informational purposes. It should not be treated as a binding quotation, a guarantee of service availability, a definitive legal opinion or a confirmation that a particular shipment or commodity can be imported, exported, cleared or transported.
Where a decision depends on current regulations, product classification, licensing, customs assessment, regulatory permissions or other official requirements, the relevant facts and requirements should be verified for the particular transaction.
If you identify an apparent error in our website content, you may contact us so that it can be reviewed.
Customers may contact SARVAYA to discuss their requirements or request a quotation.
To assess an enquiry, we may need information such as:
Quotations are prepared on the basis of the information available at the time. They may be subject to confirmation of cargo details, carrier availability, equipment, routing, space, applicable regulations and third-party charges.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, a website enquiry or indicative quotation does not constitute an accepted booking or a binding commitment to provide a service.
The quotation or written service confirmation will specify, where applicable, its validity period, scope, charges, exclusions, payment terms and other relevant conditions.
A service engagement may be confirmed through a written quotation acceptance, booking confirmation, service agreement, purchase order accepted by SARVAYA, or another mutually agreed written arrangement.
The applicable documents should be read together to understand the agreed service scope and commercial terms.
SARVAYA reserves the right to seek clarification or decline an enquiry where the information provided is incomplete, the requested activity is unlawful, the required permissions are unavailable, or the service cannot reasonably be undertaken.
No service should be considered confirmed solely because a customer has submitted an enquiry through the website.
Freight forwarding and logistics services may involve shipping lines, airlines, transport operators, terminal operators, container freight stations, warehouses, agents and other third-party service providers.
The precise scope of SARVAYA’s responsibility will depend on the service agreed in writing and the role undertaken for the particular shipment.
Schedules, transit times, routing, equipment availability and delivery estimates may change due to factors outside our reasonable control, including carrier decisions, congestion, weather, port conditions, operational restrictions, customs procedures and regulatory requirements.
Any estimated schedule or transit time is indicative unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Where a third-party provider performs part of a service, its applicable terms, conditions, limitations and operational requirements may also apply.
SARVAYA may provide consultancy, documentation assistance and other agreed support relating to customs procedures, assessment, classification, valuation, regulatory requirements and cargo release.
The importer, exporter or other legally responsible party remains responsible for providing accurate information, complete documents and the declarations required of them under applicable law, except to the extent a specific responsibility is lawfully and expressly accepted by SARVAYA in writing.
Customs assessments, examinations, sampling, classification decisions, duty calculations, permissions, release orders and other official decisions are made by the relevant authorities or authorised bodies.
SARVAYA does not guarantee a particular assessment outcome, clearance timeline, duty rate, exemption, permission or release decision.
Any consultancy is based on the facts and documents made available to us. Where material information is missing, inconsistent or subsequently changes, the advice, scope, charges or expected timeline may need to be revised.
Customers should disclose relevant product characteristics, composition, end use, country of origin, licensing requirements and other information that may affect regulatory treatment.
Certain goods may be subject to specific import or export conditions, licences, registrations, testing, inspection, certification or approval by government departments and regulatory authorities.
Depending on the product and applicable rules, these may include requirements associated with DGFT, BIS, FSSAI, Plant Quarantine, CDSCO or other competent authorities.
The applicable requirements vary by commodity, classification, intended use, country of origin, destination and prevailing regulations.
SARVAYA may assist with identifying or addressing relevant requirements within the agreed service scope. Such assistance does not constitute a guarantee that an approval or licence will be granted.
Customers must disclose all material product information and obtain the permissions for which they are legally responsible. Restricted, prohibited or regulated goods must not be tendered for shipment without the required legal authorisation.
Customers are expected to provide accurate, complete and timely information throughout the engagement.
Depending on the service, customer responsibilities may include:
Incorrect declarations, missing documents, late instructions or undisclosed cargo characteristics may result in additional costs, inspection, delays, penalties, storage, demurrage, detention or other consequences under applicable rules and contracts.
The charges for each engagement will be determined by the relevant quotation, written confirmation, service agreement or other accepted commercial terms.
Depending on the assignment, charges may include freight, transportation, handling, documentation, consultancy, terminal charges, warehousing, customs-related service charges and third-party expenses.
Unless expressly included in a written quotation, government duties, taxes, regulatory fees and third-party charges should not be assumed to be included in the quoted amount.
Additional charges may arise where shipment details change, cargo remains at a facility beyond the permitted period, authorities require further examination or documentation, or carriers and other service providers impose additional costs.
Where reasonably practicable, we will inform the customer of material additional charges before they are incurred. However, urgent operational requirements, statutory charges or third-party billing arrangements may limit advance notice.
The applicable quotation and service agreement will govern the customer’s payment obligations.
Payment deadlines, credit arrangements, deposits, advance payments and other financial conditions will be specified in the applicable quotation, invoice or written agreement.
Customers are expected to pay undisputed amounts by the agreed due date.
Any interest, recovery costs, suspension rights or other consequences of delayed payment will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the relevant contractual terms.
Where payment is overdue, SARVAYA may, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations, suspend further services or decline additional bookings after providing any notice required under the circumstances.
Any dispute over an invoice should be raised promptly with the relevant supporting details.
Commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, customs documents, licences, certificates, financial details and other shipment records may contain confidential or commercially sensitive information.
SARVAYA will handle information received during an engagement in accordance with its Privacy Policy, applicable legal requirements and relevant contractual commitments.
Customers should ensure that they are authorised to share documents and personal or commercial information with SARVAYA for the requested purpose.
Documents may be shared with carriers, agents, customs brokers, transporters, warehouses, regulatory authorities, auditors or other relevant parties where reasonably necessary for the agreed service, required by law or authorised by the customer.
Customers should notify us if particular confidentiality or document-handling requirements apply to their engagement so that these can be reviewed and agreed where practicable.
Some services may depend on independent third parties, including shipping lines, airlines, transporters, warehouses, terminal operators, laboratories, inspection agencies, overseas agents and other service providers.
Their availability, operational performance, schedules, charges and contractual terms may be outside SARVAYA’s direct control.
Where applicable, the terms of the relevant third-party provider may govern its own services, liabilities and limitations.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes a responsibility that SARVAYA cannot lawfully exclude or limits any obligation expressly accepted by SARVAYA in a written agreement.
Customers must provide accurate cargo details and any special handling instructions before the relevant service begins.
Packaging, labelling, loading, securing, handling, storage and delivery requirements depend on the cargo, transport mode, agreed scope and applicable rules.
Where cargo requires special handling, hazardous-goods procedures, temperature control, oversize transport or other specific arrangements, customers must disclose the relevant requirements in advance.
Delays or additional costs may arise from unsuitable packaging, inaccurate cargo information, unavailable delivery facilities, incomplete documentation, customer instructions or requirements imposed by authorities or service providers.
Responsibility for cargo loss, damage, delay or delivery must be determined by reference to the service actually undertaken, the applicable transport documents, third-party terms, relevant insurance and applicable law.
Cargo insurance is not assumed to be included in a freight or logistics quotation unless expressly stated in writing.
Customers should consider obtaining suitable cargo insurance based on the nature, value, route and risk profile of the shipment.
Where SARVAYA agrees to assist with arranging insurance, the coverage, insured value, exclusions, conditions and claims process will be governed by the relevant policy and insurer’s terms.
Customers should review insurance documents carefully and notify the insurer within the applicable time limits if a loss or damage event occurs.
Oversized, heavy-lift, project cargo and break-bulk shipments may require specialised equipment, route surveys, permits, lifting arrangements, engineering assessments, vessel or carrier approvals and additional safety measures.
Any proposal for such services is subject to technical feasibility, cargo specifications, route suitability, equipment availability, regulatory requirements and written confirmation of the agreed scope.
Customers must provide accurate dimensions, weight, centre of gravity where relevant, lifting points, packaging details and other technical information needed to assess the movement.
Indicative plans, estimates or preliminary discussions do not constitute confirmation that a proposed movement can be completed. Material changes to cargo specifications or route conditions may require a revised quotation and operational assessment.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SARVAYA will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or reliance on general website information.
Such losses may include loss of profit, business opportunity, anticipated savings or business interruption, subject to applicable law and the terms of any relevant agreement.
Nothing in this section excludes or restricts liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
For an agreed service, liability will be assessed under the applicable contract, transport documents, mandatory legal provisions and relevant circumstances. These website Terms & Conditions do not replace service-specific liability provisions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user or customer may be responsible for losses, claims, penalties or reasonable costs arising from their unlawful conduct, material misrepresentation, breach of an applicable agreement or failure to fulfil a legal responsibility.
This section does not create an unlimited indemnity or remove any rights or protections available under applicable law.
Any specific indemnity obligations for a service will be governed by the relevant written agreement.
SARVAYA will not be treated as being in breach of an obligation to the extent performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, war, hostilities, civil unrest, epidemics, government restrictions, port closures, strikes, infrastructure failures, widespread transport disruption, cyber incidents affecting essential services or sudden regulatory changes.
Where reasonably practicable, the affected party will inform the other party of the circumstances and their expected impact.
The parties should take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the disruption. Payment obligations for services already performed and other accrued obligations will remain subject to the applicable agreement and law.
Personal information submitted through the website or shared during business engagements will be handled in accordance with SARVAYA’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
Customers and website users should review the Privacy Policy to understand how personal and business contact information may be collected, used, stored and disclosed.
Where additional confidentiality or data-processing terms are required for a particular customer, tender or contract, those requirements should be addressed separately in the relevant written agreement.
SARVAYA may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in its business, website, service arrangements or applicable legal requirements.
The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date or revision date, as appropriate.
Changes to website terms do not automatically amend a separate signed agreement or confirmed service contract. Any such amendment must be made in accordance with the relevant agreement and applicable law.
These Terms & Conditions are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory legal requirements.
Any dispute relating to website use will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction agreed by the parties or otherwise determined under applicable law.
The specific governing law, dispute resolution mechanism and jurisdiction for an individual service engagement may be set out in the relevant quotation, service agreement or contract.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not automatically amount to a waiver of the relevant right.
Any waiver or amendment should be documented in writing where required by the applicable agreement or law.
These Terms & Conditions govern general use of the SARVAYA website.
They should be read alongside the Privacy Policy and any applicable quotation, booking confirmation, service agreement, transport document, purchase order or other binding contract.
Where a valid, applicable written service agreement contains terms that specifically govern a particular engagement, those terms will apply to the extent of any inconsistency, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
